Sunderland Aircraft

 

The wreck of a WWII Sunderland flying boat is located on the islands and serves as a historical landmark. It is a reminder of the military history associated with the Chatham Islands during the war and provides a point of interest for aviation enthusiasts and history buffs.

The Cave

Awatotara Reserve

Munning Point Seal Colony

  • The rate quoted is nett and inclusive of GST. The 20% commission is included in the price. The hotel takes $2000 and the commission is $600.

  • MLOS is 3 nights and 2 days on island

  • The package is unique to the RTO Trade and TRENZ participants for international trade partners.

  • All concessions, attraction and guiding fees are included in the price above or Christchurch.​

  • For packages with 10 or more people one tour company staff person/guide is accommodated with meals FOC. Note: Company guides do not guide on the island. Children are welcome and are the same rate as adults.

  • Check in requirements are based on plane arrivals. The minimum for this package is 2 people. The maximum is 23 people.
